Hope you're all doing fine? Just a quick note to let you all know about a new club one of my DA friends has set up. It's called Skychasers and as you would imagine with this name, it focuses on all things up there

It's not just about astronomy and astrophotography, it's about all things in the sky, like weather, sunsets/rises, and clouds etc. too. So if you like the all things to do with the sky, maybe you'd like to check it out!!

Recently I haven't seen much work from my friends. I thought, hmm, maybe this is because most people are on holiday or it's just a generally quiet time. Until today, I looked through a friend's gallery and saw they have recently uploaded a few pictures!! I didn't see these on my dev watch.

I then looked through my friends list and saw that, from c down, were unchecked. I don't know why this is. Maybe I did it by mistake.

So, I have to say I'm very sorry I haven't commented on your work. It's just that i didn't know you uploaded any!!!

I’ve been on DA now for a few months so I think it’s about time I wrote something in my journal!

First of all I’d like to say welcome back home to Fox Maq! In time for the eclipse, let’s hope the weather is ok!

For all those who like astro pics, I’ve ordered a laptop so I hope to be getting better pictures of planets and the moon. It’s not an expensive one, cheap and nasty from Dell. In the past I’ve had to focus on my computer screen about 5-6 meters away, which was a right pain in the rear! Now all I’ll have to do is focus on the screen next to me. Everyone in my house are well pleased because it means that they’ll not be freezing when I’ve got the door wide open looking at the computer! There's a way that to control the telescope with the laptop, how cool would that be?!! I’ve got the software, just need the ‘know how’. All I need now is a chainsaw for that massive tree at the bottom of the garden blocking my view!

On a subject change, I’ve just come back from a beach I went to last summer and got loads of pictures. I hope they’ve come out ok, I'll upload those soon.

Well, that’s it, I’ve written something in my journal at last. It might be a few more months before I do it again. Thanks for reading, take it easy!
